Very true Kevin. Have you noticed that the same people keep saying the same thing and nobody is changing anyones mind with the arguments or factoids presented? The facts apear only to be facts to those who present them, the other side just will not believe them! I must say that at least Ian and Veek seem to present the best researched data.

Ronald the MODERATOR has become quite USELESS!!

I used to argue in favor of "Paddock", but now,,,it should be renamed "Outhouse". The place should be closed and the Bums (Mordechai included) should get a life.

I bet MONEY, if we had to vote to shut it down, it will get no more than 7 people for keeping it (The usual FLUNKIES).

maybe the political stuff seems a little more important these days because it will affect our hobby .

and even if nobody agrees , at least people are paying attention to the powers instead of leaving politics to politicians .

If you don't like a subject or a post 'might' offend your girly mentality, then don't press your mouse on the topic. I can't remember when the paddock moderator had to intervene and seperate the factions - some of those who are bothered about wrong doing by slimey turds who get them selves into positions of power called politicians.
Again, if you don't like it don't read it and if you do read it, then come up with a sensible contribution instead of boot shooting comments such as "I know, it is paddock and I don't have to open the thread but these political threads sure get boring after a while".
I would not be offended if people like this block me on their computer. In fact, in my book it might be deemed an honour.

Frank - I doubt things will ever settle down again. A majority of these politicos all over the world have become the authors of their own destiny and here in the UK we are fervently hoping some may end up incarcerated and spending time at the Queens holiday more crime training camps. They do (thats the Queens camps) , however , seem to be quite full at the moment with illegal immigrants and Romanian burglars. Frances 'Hyper President' Sarkozy seems to be getting one thing right by bussing them out of his country but the PC wankers in Brussels are telling him he is the illegal one and they have the right to stay in France and continue their evil ways.
No matter what the crime, the firing squad seems more apposite every day.

I read some of the political posts here, but I get bored with many of them too. However, like everything else in life, I simply select the ones I want to. Certainly, this is the Paddock's usefulness and function. If people feel strongly and want to post their argument, it is good for them to be able to do so. I don't think it will change anyone's views (like evolution and creation), but at least the poster has been able to present his facts/views/argument, etc., which is a positive.

Waste of time trying to broach serious discussions of that nature in the paddock, it seems like everyone who enters takes a large whiff of Mortons LemonChiller whatsit at the gate & a process similar to 'Red Mist' takes place. Exit from the paddock reverses the process for most of those lost souls & they revert to being semi acceptable citizens.
