BBC up-to-the-minute accurate Sports Weather Reports

I witnessed Michael Fish being interviewed on 5 news a couple of weeks ago, discussing Climate Change and reviewing the terrible weather we had been having recently.

The typically extreme visuals of glaciers melting, towns washed away by flood, blah blah blah.

When asked what the weather had in store for for good ole Great Britain over the coming months, he quite firmly stated that any chance of a half-decent Summer, was extremely slim-to none!

Accurate Weather reports my bottom. These guys and the Met Office, couldn't predict the roll of a dice that has threes on all sides!

I knew that Keith! That's why I was prompted to post more supporting evidence.

Please don't tell me that you have started to take me for one of those 'serious, contrary poster' types!

A moment's inattention I assure you - nothing more serious than a simple T2 lung event.

But, I had my doubts...... :worried:

It's 0500 and the temp has just fallen to a new weekly low of 18 degrees, being pretty drowsy anyway not having slept properly for about a week, is a lame excuse.

But the fact is, that having spotted the handle "Aggrieved of Wessex" in the above post I began a search of the board to discover exactly who that might be?

Nice one Dr Jim.

Did someone mention global warming? Surely that farce has been disproven by now?
Actually David as our esteemed and knowledgeable meteorologist what is your view on global warming?
Keith sorry to hear about the respiratory problem, a little rum won't fix it but you will feel better.

Sorry Petemate, rum is off the menu as is most alcohol now, but a little chilled Normandy Cidre hits the spot every couple of weeks. There is still a price to pay though.....although not as bad as happens with the rum..:stunned:

Next, they'll be telling me I have to cut sex down to 10 times a day! A flippin' DAY I tell you. :veryangry:

Life won't be worth living... :(

Pete, ever been to the Arctic? I've made multiple trips to Spitsbergen over past 10 years. Icepack is shrinking at an alarming rate. Check out satellite photos. At this rate the Arctic will be ice free by 2050. No global warming?

Assuming that the Planet decides to continue as it is, at this 'tiny' moment in time and not do what it has done for millenia; CHANGE!

My back garden was green two weeks ago. Satellite photo's comnfirm, that if this carries on, within 50 years, I will be living beside a desert!
