F1 is boring me to death!!!!

Schumacher's is better in cars than in karts. He used to practise a lot together with Jos Verstappen and Verstappen was around 0.2 and 0.3 seconds quicker.
Hell, even my teammate beat him at world championships at his home track in the late eighties and became World Championship. His name is Frank Eglem, but he never made it really into cars. Other famous names from that generations were Frentzen, Jason Plato and Mike Hezemans.

I rate Fangio and Nuvolari higher.

Some facts:
144 days to the next race.
Alonso wants three titles to equal Senna.
Coulthard had a crap year and says he's glad it's over.
Big Ron never got a podium this year.
FIA now stands for "Ferrari International Assistance"
Vettel will get a race next year and will go on to dominate F1 (IMHO)
Renault did the business this year.
Sato with the Super Aguri was brilliant at Interlagos, in spite of the results.
Michelin did the business this year.
and just to drive it home:
Renault did the business this year with - Pat Symonds.

Senna, Clark, Brabham, Moss, Fangio, Carriciola, Nuvolari and many more. I don't think you can compare from different era's. All were great in their time, as is Schumi.
A great talent who's win at any cost attitude diminishes his achievements.

David, Di and I just booked for Monaco next year look forward to catching up again and celebrating Fernando's victory.

I wonder how long it takes to program that rev sequence into the computer?
Very cool stuff.

David, good stuff we will give Pete's bar a huge nudge.

Frank,

Why would they want to play "My Country 'Tis of Thee"?????

Just like the language, shared but different!

Probably a quarter million worth of time to program that number.......If top flight teams only spend HALF of what is published, it still boggles MY mind!

On the FOSA (F1 Suppaorters Association) website 97% voted to listen to the race commentaries on Radio 5 Live instead of the drivel (my opinion) dished out by ITV's James Allen. If you are interested in change, go to the ITV F1 website and when it offers 'ask the team' or some such, just post the question "when will you sack James Allen".............

Wow ..........655 posts. I think I can clear up the entire situation with four words. Ready ?.........BRING BACK GROUP SEVEN !!

As a matter of interest Dave, I notice that James Allen does raise ire in some people but he bothers me not. What is it about him or his delivery which excites such negativity?

The guy I would want to see banned from commentating on motorsport is Carlton Kirby, him of Motors TV fame and a bigger twat you'll never hear. Up against him, I reckon James Allen is like Richard Dimbleby...

C'mon Dave, what's with JA?

PS F1 to smell like a McDonalds? Cool....

So how many people are allergic to Peanuts?

Now it will be suing season when peanut oil vapour comes in contact and causes problems. Just as well Bernie is rich medical costs could be high

It's back.
60 days to Melbourne.
Loads of hype during the closed season - Lots of 'scribes' with naff all to write about so a lot of the hype is just made up hot air.
I feel optimistic for this year - but then again I'm the eternal optimist.
The Manufacturers Championship for Renault 3 years in a row would be quite something.
