Nothing to do with cars but my horse Jeteye Warrior won its maiden race yesterday, even more special for me as I also bred the horse, my first win as a breeder. Got to bed at 3.am.
Stick around after the race and cop a sight of the Jockey a very cute little girl.

Congrats, Pete!!!!!!!!!

That surge on the outside was a jaw dropper!

I've often wondered how you horse owner/breeders keep from having a heart attack during a race!

Well done Pete, looks like the horse out ran the field and the Jockey out rode the others. Now dish the dirt , what were the odds and how much did you put on it  And you say you bred the horse ................ care to expand on this :lipsrsealed:

Thank you guys it is a big thrill. Mark I'm happy to introduce you when next you are in OZ.
When the horse was born the stupid thing couldn't work out where the mares tit was (unlike most of you blokes) I spent about 16 hours trying get him to drink, he was suffering from dehydration and very weak, the vet managed to get some fluids in him and eventually we got him to suckle, but it was a near thing.

Bob he paid $6.00 for the win and I had $25.00 on him which is a huge bet for me. I love the horses but I'm not much of a punter.
His dad was Jet spur. And his Mum was Angel Eye. My involvement was just $$$$. :stunned:
