If you could bring back any 3 race cars...

Rob,

Great choices.

I was fortunate enough to talk a gentleman in giving me a ride in a Ferrari 250TR, I think it was a '57, at the Portland Historics about ten years ago. I remember the whine from the transmission as being sweet! I have already had a ride in a Cobra, and still waiting for a ride in a GT40rockonsmile :pepper: :pepper:

Damn boys...good calls.....!!!!
The tough part is boiling it down to three. A factor of ten might make it easier.

So far, I think the best three may be Paolos. Mi paice Paolo... molto bene.

ewhh... D type....that's a tuffy....though..

1. GT40 Mk l
2. GT40 Mk ll
3. GT40 Mk lV

4. And it would not be complete without the Ford GT

ehehe thank u Rob,also if it is very very hard to choose only 3 (I have at least 30 in my heart,as cobra, daytona coupè, ferrari gto,mk2 and 4 gt40,alfa 33 stradale,lotii49 amd i can go on for hours..and for days with a bottle of good wine..;) ).

Cant resist to put that p4 front pictures as my desktop here (think is chassis 856 at papple beach...but not so sure, maybe its Jim one..dunno)

My personal choice:

Lotus 49

McLaren M6

GT 40 Mk1...

and a Lola T 70, and a Ferrari P330, and a Porsche 917, and a Porsche 906, and an Alfa 33, and... life is tough...

Have to say I'd be happy with any of those cars already put forward!

However, for what it's worth my choices are:

1.) Penske/ Kirk F. White Ferrari 512 (driven by the great Mark Donohue)

2.) Ferrari 330 P3 (or P4 - I'm not fussed)

3.) Aston Martin DP214.

Realistically, I'll stick with the Saab 9-3 though....

Just 3? Umm...

1:- 'Knobbly' Lister.
2:- Plymouth Road Runner 'Superbird'
3:- Mk1 GT...
3a:- 917/30
3b:- XJ13
3c:- 250GTO
3d.....

Of course, this list changes from day to day - sometimes minute to minute. There's just so many to choose from...

... G

917-30
Brabham F1 sucker car (12 cylinder sound, a hoover on the back and a win in it's only race)
Ferrari 512M

Soooo many options it's really hard to pick!

and a Lotus 49 or 79
and a tall airbox Ferrari 312 F1
and a Gurney F1 Eagle
and and and......
