Put on 175 miles up and down the Colorado Front Range Wednesday. A winter storm was moving in at it started snowing literally 5 minutes after I shut the garage door. Loading up the car and bringing it up the mountain this weekend for the duration. Have some plans for some upgrades over the winter

I sat here in slack-jawed amazement watching that vid. People in Colo actually KEEP THE HECK OUT OF THE LEFT LANE unless they're passing someone!!!

Around here - no flippin' way. HERE we constantly have "left lane Lennys" who insist on sitting in the left lane and pacing slower traffic in the other lane(s).

'Maddening..

That was pure luck Larry as we are infested with the same left lane lallygaggers probably transplants from Kalifornia too :)

How do you know it's winter in Colorado? You can spot muddy Bentleys 9000 feet up at the Wondervu Cafe.

I don't know, Mike, I've yet to see you get stuck behind anyone who's plugged up the left lane in any of your vids...and I believe I've probably seen all of them.

My point is your left lane Lenny count can't possibly be as high as our count is out here...

I've spent quite a bit of time on the front range of the Rockies, fly fishing on the S. Platte River. The scenery is stunning, the roads winding but rather narrow and if you get stuck behind someone who is spellbound by the visual beauty you can feel like it takes forever to go a mile.

Still, if you have to be stuck behind a lollygagger, it's much better than the flat plains of SW KS.

Would love to take my Cobra out for a ride in the Pike National Forest!

Cheers!

Camera is just a $250 GoPro2. Look for the new GoPro3 any time now. Amazing quality out of such a tiny little throw away camera.

Doug or any of you GT40 forum people, look me up anytime you're out this direction. I know some good drives on roads less travelled. There's a video on here somewhere Doug from last weekend when I met up with the Mile High Cobra club for a drive down through Larkspur/Monument area with Tom who's a member on here. Fantastic time!

The sun peaked out this afternoon and I got 2000' elevation on my bicycle before heading home. This is what I am forced to pass through daily heading up the canyon. No sracasm intended... none ha
