Malaysian Flight Missing

This going to end quickly (days) when the black box is found OR somebody is going to start thinking about cost. Malaysia isn't equipped to do the search and can't afford to pay for it. "The flight of ML370 has come to an end in the South Indian Ocean" Malaysian Prime minister. Sounds like the last word to me.

The west will not want to use the resources that are available for very long and if the Chinese don't want to revel their military capabilities or lack of it, then that's it.

It might just be the Chinese who throw in the wreckage and call it a day.

By the way who did find the French plane's black boxes in the South Atlantic. Was it French government financed private assets or military? Somebody else? Airbus?

As I recall, it was a French built, Air France flight.....

I'm pretty sure that Airbus and Paris covered most of the recovery cost.

Airbus was very anxious to find out what happened.....

My curiousity was killing me, so I Googled it. Wikipedia said this:

"Within a week of resuming of the search operation, on 3 April 2011, a team led by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution operating full ocean depth autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) owned by the Waitt Institute discovered, by means of sidescan sonar, a large portion of the debris field from flight AF447.[119] Further debris and bodies, still trapped in the partly intact remains of the aircraft's fuselage, were located in water depths of between 3,800 to 4,000 metres (2,100 to 2,200 fathoms; 12,500 to 13,100 ft). The debris was found to be lying in a relatively flat and silty area of the ocean floor (as opposed to the extremely mountainous topography that was originally believed to be AF447's final resting place).[citation needed] Other items found were engines, wing parts and the landing gear..."

Dupicate post...and I'll be darned if I know how that happened NOR how I could delete it other than to do what I just did...

I saw this, article...

“Boeing put out a warning back in August, and it said the 777 had a problem with fuselage cracking. In particular, it was cracking around the satellite antennas and the communications antennas"

**************

So we could have decompression and loss of communications in one "pop"......

Perhaps they started to turn back and........

Mebbe...but, that wouldn't 'splain the zig-zag, 180 degree course change, Jim...NOR the lack of any radio "May day" communication in the process thereof, etc., etc....

OMG department.

Spare a thought for this guy - not sure if it's true but you never know:

Please spare a thought for the man who told his wife he was going to Beijing on Malaysian flight MH 370 and now can't come out of his girlfriend's flat.!

Well, more debris was observed by satellites overnight. Lots more. Let's hope the boats can get out there and recover something that will tell whether or not it is from Flight 370. Can't imagine there could be any other source, but ships do discard refuse into the oceans and so I guess that could be a possible source.

I suppose this new debris could be items from inside the airplane that have just now worked their way out and floated to the surface...which brings up the possibility that there could be human remains among the floating items.

The mystery deepens...

Cheers!

It's an 'intended' joke.

But still, as screwed up as some people allow their lives to get in this day and age, such a scenario is not at all beyond the realm of possibility.

The names of the Captain ,co pilot and navigator of the Malaysian missing plane have been released. Captain Sum Ting Wong, co pilot Ho Lee Fuk and flight navigator Wi Tu Lo.

Well this is something completely left field! :stunned::stunned:
Something the conspiracy theorists among us will have a field day with !

Sent to me by email:

"Bizarre and yet a possible reason for the complete and unprecedented disappearance. of MH370. Probably will be considered a conspiracy theory, but even if they find the aircraft, no drone control systems, and 8 dead Chinese scientists, they will never find a black box.....and that may prove the story."

Whilst America is in the process of withdrawing from Afghanistan, one of their command and control system (used for controlling the pilot-less drones) was hijacked by the Talebans when the American transport convoy was moving down from one of the hill top bases. The Talebans ambushed the convoy and killed 2 American Seal personnel, seized the equipment/weapons, including the command and control system which weighed about 20 tons and packed into 6 crates. This happened about a month ago in Feb 2014.
What the Talebans want is money. They wanted to sell the system to the Russians or the Chinese. The Russians are too busy in Ukraine. The Chinese are hungry for the system’s technology. Just imagine if the Chinese master the technology behind the command and control system, all the American drones will become useless. So the Chinese sent 8 top defense scientists to check the system and agreed to pay millions for it.
Sometime in early Mar 2014, the 8 scientists and the 6 crates made their way to Malaysia, thinking that it was the best covert way to avoid detection. The cargo was then kept in the Embassy under diplomatic protection. Meanwhile the Americans have engaged the assistance of Israeli intelligence, and together they are determined to intercept and recapture the cargo.
The Chinese calculated that it will be safe to transport it via civilian aircraft so as to avoid suspicion. After all the direct flight from KL to Beijing takes only 4 and half hours, and they believe the Americans will not hijack or harm the civilians. So MH370 is the perfect carrier.
There are 5 American and Israeli agents on-board who are familiar with Boeing operation. The 2 “Iranians” with stolen passports could be among them.
When MH370 is about to leave Malaysian air space and report to Vietnamese air control, one American AWAC jammed their signal, disabled the pilot control system and switched over to remote control mode. That was when the plane suddenly lost altitude momentarily.
How the AWAC can do it ? Remember 911 incident ? After the 911 incident, all Boeing aircraft (and possibly all Airbus) are installed with remote control systems to counter terrorist hijacking. Since then all Boeing's could be remote controlled by ground control tower. Exactly he same remote control system used to control the pilot-less spy aircraft and drones.
The 5 American/Israeli agents soon took over the plane, switched off the transponder and other communication systems, changed course and flew westwards. They dare not fly east to Philippines or Guam because the whole South China Sea air space was covered by surveillance radar and satellite.
The Malaysian, Thai and Indian military radars actually detected the unidentified aircraft but did not react professionally.
The plane flew over North Sumatra, Anambas, South India and then landed at Maldives (some villagers saw the aircraft landing), refueled and continued its flight to Garcia Diego, the American Air Base in the middle of Indian Ocean. The cargo and the black box were removed. The passengers were silenced via natural means, lack of oxygen. They believe only dead persons will not talk. The MH370 with dead passengers were air borne again via remote control and crashed into South Indian Ocean, making it to believe that the plane eventually ran out of fuel and crashed, and probably blaming the defiant captain and co-pilot.
The Americans have put up a good show. First diverting all the attention and search effort in the South China Sea while the plane made its way through the Indian Ocean. Then they came out with some conflicting statements and evidence to confuse the world. Australian is the unwitting co-actor.
The amount of effort put up by China, in terms of the number of search aircraft, ships and satellites, searching first the South China Sea, then the Malacca Straits and the Indian Ocean is unprecedented. This showed that the China is very concerned, not so much because of the many Chinese civilian passengers, but mainly the high value cargo and its 8 top defense scientists.” And what it would mean to break the power of the drone systems worldwide.

Light blue touch paper :stunned::stunned:

Is the aircraft part found on Reunion today part of this aircraft?

If so is the current flow South from Maldives or West from The Australian side of the Indian Ocean?

Time will tell

Ian

From data Ive seen current flow in the Indian ocean is anti- clockwise with reference to Australia & the Maldives. eg it flows south past the Maldives and north adjacent to West Australia. The 'top' of this current flow appears to be just below the equator and there is another smaller anticlockwise current flow above which means there is a turbulent area of east/west conflicting flows where the two rub shoulders. Brian Stewart might be able to enlighten us further on that.
