I looked at trying to find brass Z and not having much luck but I will get some aluminum and see if I can shrink or stretch to make the bottom curve to see if even feasible. I saw where DRB did a hybrid version of this but not much detail I have asked Peter Delaney if he can share detailed photos of what he has in his car.

in the text they.... brasing.. two "L" shape together to form the "Z".... and go on from that basis
