Trion Supercars Nemesis hypercar revealed

That car looks sharp in that pic, the side bent reminds me of the apex a bit!

That's a pretty slick car...didn't realize they had a carbon chassis too, very nice.

Partnered with Lotus ....

Do they have a V8 as I recall a 4 cyl. one..?

You should be able to knock one of those up in your shop Ted...wink

$165k plus S/H/Tax for the 4 cyl...not cheap but less expensive than many other full race cars of similar calibre

Just a little eye candy, the unimogs were taking over! No need to build one, we already have a faster race car in inventory, should be starting on the Lemans soon also.

I don't know what you're talking about. Not a single picture of a unimog was posted ;)

Can't wait to see your progress on the LeMans

I like some of the modern designs: McLaren P1, Pagani Huayra, Koenigsegg One:1 (that one's my current desktop image). Even my little FT86 is a pretty car in person, pictures don't do it justice really. I haven't found an angle that it doesn't look good from.

I also find a lot of the ones I drooled over in the past now just look dated. Countach is a perfect example. It was so incredible when I was growing up, now it just looks odd. The Porsche 959 and Jag XJ220 are more examples. The truly timeless designs are the ones that you look at 30, 40 or more years later and they still look hot (I'm talking to you GT40 & 962).

So I am just going to put this out there... the new Batmobile from the new upcoming video game? Possible? ..... :drunk:

I love the 1930's air racers and aerodynamic concepts. How about something like this?

Edit: This would be perfect for a V12 or Viper V10 engine.

Then there would be questions about roll cages and seat belts and two seater versions...etc..

These are all questions I have already fielded about the Monoposto that was on display at COTA last weekend....

I love this generation of car myself and I am tickled pink by our monoposto.

I've bought a Japanese performance coupe and we've got some other interesting cars in our stable. I think as far as buying cars goes, I'm not going to get anything more interesting than what I have now without spending megabucks.

The Ford Duratec 2.0l 4 cylinder poweprlant interests me though - Specialist Components in the UK sell a reasonably worked version that gives out 280hp for reasonable money. It seems like a pretty neat unit for what is basically a tweaked crater, but it must be pretty versatile. I'd love to do a build with one at some point in the future.

Having said that, I'd love to try my hand at an electric SLC sometime. If I can just convince my boss that I should get thirty consecutive and instantaneous promotions then I'll be away :p There's something about the SLC - I think it's the classic Group C shape that does it for me. Give five or so years and I'll hopefully be beating a path to your door.

Found this picture on the innerweb, could this be the drivetrain by our favorite car builder?

LOL....

me too on the Mazda...very very rare..and Dempsey still crashed it...hehe

I had a wind tunnel model of the DG3 and really liked the proportions of all the GTP light cars ...Spice etc .

They were always reputed to be more fun top drive than the GTP cars ....many were V6 powered with turbos...

Being a race car guy the Saubers , 962, GTP lights car all played a big part in influencing the design of the SLC...and then my main man Mike Moore and the RCR team ,we took the car to where it is now....sometimes I get too close to the cars and its not until I get a chance to standback and see them on the ground and from a distance that I really remember how damn pretty the thing is....
