At least I now know my 6AL box is goosed so I am a happy silly Billy
posting off to the US for repair tomorrow so hoping it doesn't take to long.
Thanks Ryan, lock nut left loose for adjustments.
All holes blanked as you cannot have any sharp edges in case when you are reversing over a pedestrian they cut their hands on them, or a part of the IVA sphere representing a body part comes into contact with a non correctly radius part when pushed through any aperture.
Trying to comply with IVA rules
1 Fuel caps tethered
2 Switches and warning lights labeled.
3 Steering wheel holes covered and padded thanks to Andy Green.
4 CAT 2 immobiliser fitted.
New chief mechanic tried to find the reason for my misfire no luck yet

That's what I thought Andy until the steering column had to be forced into it's aperture, and some of the panel gaps were not uniform.
Think I may have been reading to many build threads. :laugh:
Quick visit to SGT to pick up my heated windscreen,borrow some bits for IVA and have a snoop around.
Pictures show car in for gearbox change, MK2 race car being made road legal and ready for IVA, customer complete full build in progress, and starting a new chassis.

Yesterday was a good day with the heated windscreen and bulkhead glass after a bit of trimming fitted for me.

Unfortunately, came crashing back down to earth today with one of those days when I thought the best way forward would be to put the whole lot on eBay at a bargain price
Firstly the heated screen does not seem to be heating although indicating 11 amps on my meter is being draw when switch on.
Then the screen water jet nozzle was to low and although water was getting on the screen by deflection I suspected IVA would require a direct jet onto the screen. Unfortunately, there is a wiper motor wheel box directly below the nozzle so very limited access. I thought I had loosened the nozzle nut off enough to ease the assembly up a bit, I was wrong disaster.
So now it was a case of removing both fuel tanks to gain access to the dash bolts then removing everything required to ease the dash out, or butchering the bodywork to gain access to fit a new nozzle.
Being me I depressingly went the butcher route.

In the grand scene of the build, this will seem a minor irritation!
Tidy the hole up and fit a rubber blanking plug and if anyone asks it was a period race modification :laugh:
