A fully charged battery should read 12.6 volts

The exact charging voltage will vary according to the battery state of charge, the load on the electrical system and the temperature. The “normal” charging voltage on a typical application might be 13.0-15.1 vat 77 degrees f but at -20 degrees f the charging voltage might be 14.9-15.8v. On a hot day with hot engine the charging voltage might drop to 13.5-14.3v

When you crank the engine for starting expect the battery voltage to drop noticeably lower (hopefully not below 10 volts


With the engine idling and no load on the charging system (light and accessories all off, battery fully charged)THE AMPERAGE OUTAGE SHOULD BE AROUND 10 AMPS. With for example heater on headlights on and the engine running at 2000 rpm the output would typically read 25-30amps or more.

Everyone knows this kind of activity, we learned about it from the grammar school bullies.

You remember the bullies, they would call folks names and belittle all who they do not understand, who were "different" or they just did not like.

Bob has decided that the best way to belittle me is to try and show that I'm not really a car guy. He asks car question after car question, trying to prove that he is more worthy than I.


As the Dyslexsic kid, I have endured far more than my share of this type of activity from insucure children.

I have stated about three times I would leave and not darken the political paddock again. I even managed it for a week or so but stopped the medication and came back, that may be good for you were would you be without us? but not for me.

I am trying, (very trying), my willpower is weak but in my defense you certainly know which buttons to push and you enjoy pushing them, also someone once told me.

I have regretted many times my silence in the name of tact rather than speak up when some injustice was being perpetrated.
