Jim in post #1083 not too far back I asked you this. "So you admit Jim that Al Gore is a liar? And tells lies to increase his wealth?"
It is a very simple question and could be answered yes or no. But you still have not answered it.

Yes he does lie to increse his wealth.

Pete,

What do you think of the way Mr Gore goes at this issue?

He cherry picks data, articles and reports that show data the way he thinks it should be, ignoring any contrary viewpoints.

Then he takes advantage of the available "media" to get the word out to all that he can get to listen.....Often mocking anyone who contridicts his view.

Pete, truthfully, what do you think of the way Mr Gore presents his case?

Your turn.

Which politician doesn't 'cherry pick' data to support their case?

Show me a truly balanced news story from any main stream media.

Which scientists report doesn't present their dissertation in a way that promotes their 'findings' whilst burying the contrary news a little deeper?

It just doesn't happen.

They've all got an angle and the prize is $$$$$.

You are arguing semantics not issues.

Absolutely spot on Keith.

. He does exactly as Obama does for instance.

Although I have called Mr Gore a lier over and over, that was not good enough for you. You insisted on a direct answer.

I gave a direct answer.

Now, I asked you what you think of the way Mr Gore presents his case.

Its a fairly simple question.

Mr Gore cherry picks data, articles and reports that show data the way he thinks it should be, ignoring any contrary viewpoints.

Then he takes advantage of the available "media" to get the word out to all that he can get to listen.....Often mocking anyone who contridicts his view.

Your answer: "I think he is like every politician on earth"

That is not an answer that is a comparison........Gandi, Reagan, Mao, Washington......all the same?

Plus Mr Gore has been out of Politics since 2001.

Pete, I'll ask again: What you think of the way Mr Gore presents his case, is it fair and balanced?

“There is no reproducible scientific evidence CO2 has significantly increased in the last 100 years.

“Anecdotal evidence doesn’t mean anything in science, its not significant.

“Events can happen with frequencies on all time scales in the physics of a chaotic system such as the weather. Any point on lowland can flood up to a certain level on all time scales from one month to millions of years and its completely unpredictable beyond around five days.

“We can go back to great floods and Noah’s Ark in the Middle East regions which are now desserts.

“The reason records seem to be being frequently broken is simply because we only started keeping them about 100 years ago. There will always be some record broken somewhere when we have another natural fluctuation in weather.

“Its absolutely stupid to blame floods on climate change, as I read the Prime Minister did recently. I don’t blame the politicians in this case, however, I blame his so-called scientific advisors.”

But surely most of the world’s leaders, scientific community and people in general can’t be wrong can they?

Prof Woodcock hits back: “This is not the way science works. If you tell me that you have a theory there is a teapot in orbit between the earth and the moon, its not up to me to prove it does not exist, its up to you to provide the reproducible scientific evidence for your theory.

“Such evidence for the man-made climate change theory has not been forthcoming.”

Perhaps Bob perhaps. I dont think your copy of the Yorkshire evening post with that Spike Milligan lookalike mad prof`s report would sway the worlds environmentalist`s though.

Yorkshire has the best stories:

Paper Round

"I rolled the paper up tight and tossed it in the air, the dog went for the paper and caught a size eight on its way. We seemed to strike an understanding after that."

I found a single blast to the eyes from squirt gun loaded with 50/50 ammonia & water instantly and forever ensured my own safe passage past the residence of a certain nasty, not-so-little, fowl-tempered, 4-legged beast.

'Never seen a snarling, snapping, yapping, nipping, teeth bearing, bike-chasing dog turn tail and run from my bike "ki yi YIPPING" its way back to its porch faster than that 'mizzerbull' flea transporter did on that day. (He s-t-a-r-t-e-d to run after me the next time I rode past 'his residence', but, 1/2 way he recognized me and l-i-t-e-r-a-l-l-y went into a 4-paw s-k-i-d to a stop...barked ONCE...'turned around and trotted back to his porch as if he'd just really shown me who was the top dog around there, boy.)

I loathe that dog to this day...even though he has to have been dead for at least 60 years now!

'Sorry for the drift from the drift!
