Weight and I like the looks and no corrosion. Why Ti ?
Pictures? I'm just now trying figure that out. I have a prius rack too and I'm using the column also to keep a bunch of switches off the dash and close. I will have some on the steering wheel also.Looking good Rod. I'm more wimpy now than I've ever been in my life, and eventually had to modify a Prius EPAS column to give me what I need with the Porsche rack. Great rack, but with its low ratio (high effort), a 13"steering wheel, and two shoulder surgeries, I had to figure something else out. End results were really good, and now wished I'd done it sooner.
Last note since there is so much similarity between our projects, the design of these racks allows a lot of flexibility in inserting spacers on the ends of the rack to eliminate bump steer. I think I had to add something on the order of around 3 to 4 inches to each sided to accomplish this (basically a 1" tube with a 16mm stud in the end that screwed into the rack ends. The outside then was fitted to the need (which was clevises for rod ends).
Thank you! 911 PorscheRod, just a question and a comment , what rack is that thanks? and your front upper arms should have a connection or brace between to prevent them moving backwards under braking as there is a heavy load trying to twist those ends where they bolt onto the upright. Not meant as a criticism.

I have a m6gt body. I'll have to make frame for that one.Rod, nice work and you are making rapid progress. Can you tell me a little about the Prius steering parts or point me in the direction where I can read further? I see you have selected the top of the line QA1 shock package, I may end up with those myself as continue to develop the ride quality of my car.
What is the M6BGT you mention? Details?
Thanks
