    Superlite GTA

Well, as i've been following this thread for a good while and Iam far from disappointed with the way this turned out. I've done an awd conversion on this chasis previously and utilized the same techniuqe in attaching the rear subframe as are shown in these pics. This looks like a solid build...

Congratulations on the Purchase "R Martin"... can you share any information about attaching the rear cage? did it involve welding or was it a bolt on affair?

Ok Well thats different! Is this still a no weld kit? I remember something along those lines in the beginning of this thread but a lot has changed from then.. Basically can someone still order this kit and put it together at there garage? By the way in my case, welding in the support frames...

Ok thanks for the reply's everyone about the trans... I was only curious as iam unfamiliar with these transmissions and was kicking around the idea of a build.... That site posted above stated that these transmission are used in the new a6 and s4. Those cars factory are 222hp/310tq and...

Iam a bit unfamiliar with the trans option. Can anyone point me to some information about how much tq/hp it can handle in stock form and if there is aftermarket support to upgrade its internals if need be.

Thanks for the reply about the trans fran. Was wondering if the trans is an auto or manual and its hp/tq level at which it breaks before upgrading it.

I can't stay away :) Does anyone know if it would be possible to fit the 4g63 to the vw trans axle via custom plate or housing? Maybe If there were some more specs on the length of the vw engine package then it would be possible to compare to some 4g63/trans options.. I know Billfab auto has...

REALLY ? a VW Motor and Drivetrain. Totally surprised about this one but I can see the benefits of not going with the somewhat brittle drivetrain that comes with the 4g63. I don't know much about what it takes to get a nice power band from a vw motor but am convinced even more now that the...

Ya there are design deference's that are obvious to discount it as a gta. A picture from the rear shows how hollow the inner wheel well is and poor offset/width of rims. I think the GTA will ""Eventually"" come to market but dose not seem to be a priority at the moment. Its ok though I moved...

Argh looks like I found the company rebranding the GTA (j/k) Yahoo Description says it uses a 4g63 and also read it can be purchased with a honda motor. <iframe src="//www.youtube.com/embed/WHvjjfGuF4c" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe> <iframe...

Well watching this thread from the beginning and seeing the way the apex pics looks is amazing. I think RCR did a great job with this project. I especially like how this car will have purpose and can be used on the track for fun times as well. I'am looking forward to more pics of suspension and...

Just wanted to add another common tuning device is using ecuflash along with rewiring (10 or so plus wires) to work with a Evo 8/9 ECU, specific 2g eclipse turbo Black ECU's or 4cyl/Manual 3g Eclipse ECU's. I ' haven't had any issues with the 1g (black top) cam sensor on a 2g using ecuflash.

    New SL-C video

I only ask this question as it relates to the video. Has anyone actually purchased an slc with for a 4 cylinder build? I see that the SLC can accommodate it but haven't seen any builds.

I had to drop in and say this car is coming together nicely. I'am particularly happy with the way the celica lights look, and the rear. Does anyone know if an 18x9.5 +15 would fit , or is the offset to low?
