The German world champion record is used as a replacement for the injured Felipe Massa at the Grand Prix in Valencia start.

Although the issue of Formula 1 for me since a long time and was completely finished, I made commitment to the team this unfortunate situation can not be ignored. As an athlete, I truly am, but I am looking forward to this challenge, "says the 40-year-old Schumacher continued. His spokeswoman Sabine Kehm said:" Michael is ready. If all the tests and inspections went well, then he will start.

Even before his final commitment Schumacher had fueled speculation and a return is not excluded. If Ferrari to give him, he to deal with, had said Kehm. According to information from the Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport had the Scuderia Schumacher with an extension of his millionaire consultant contract lure - and thus pushing the comeback want.

The Grand Prix of Valencia will thus Schumacher at the side of Kimi Räikkönen at the Grand Prix of Hungary injured Ferrari driver Felipe Massa represented. Massa was on Saturday in qualifying for the Grand Prix of Hungary at Tempo 240 of a 800 gram heavy steel spring on the helmet has been taken, had briefly lost consciousness and raced into a stack of tires. Since it lies in a hospital in Budapest.

Whether and when the Brazilians again returns to the cockpit is open, but doctors were optimistic that he's already at the Grand Prix in Singapore on the route can return. On Wednesday, he referred to the team data intensive care unit of the AEK-abandoned hospital in Budapest. The web page of the Gazzetta dello Sport quoted Ferrari with the words: "The Scuderia Ferrari, the intention is to Michael Schumacher from the cockpit of Felipe Massa to transfer, while the Brazilian pilot can not drive."

"The most important thing first: Fortunately, the news of Felipe overwhelmingly positive. I hereby wish him all the best again," Schumacher began his comeback statement.

For Schumacher it is now a matter for the race in about three weeks to make fit. He is preparing a special training program. Because of the ban on testing in Formula 1, but he can no laps with the Ferrari rotate. Only in February, he had a motorcycle accident in the neck hurt, could not train for weeks and had his start in the International German Motorbike Championship even move

Not to drift too far from topic, but based on the "impeccable engineering" sold to me when I bought my 2002 325i and consequently nearly braking the bank on constant repairs (last one a $2600 estimate to replace an A/C condenser valve inside the dash), I say, "good riddance". No wonder their sales have declined so much. Obviously the same engineering effort went to the F1 effort as well.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Michael is back.
The greatest pilot of modern era is ready to do again something interesting for ferrari
Just I hope he will be able to do as Nigel mansell, or as Mario Andretti (saw him in Monza 1982. He never touched the ferrari 126c2...and he finished second.Mario is even mario).
Grazie Schumy....we all hope u can do something well with this crappy ferrari 2009.

Beware out there...the kaiser is back.

I can only think of four letter expletives that can adequately sum up how I feel
about the return of this idiot. He did more harm to F1 than Mosley and his ventriloquists dummy (him - the dummy - with the very tall ex wife)
so if he is match fit by Valencia, expect the viewing figures to decline sharply except in the Kerpen area of W Germany. It's difficult enough now to keep alert during the races let alone if MS is driving.
Be Alert. Your country needs lerts.

IMHO Ferrari would have been better placed getting a young gun to replace Massa, but having said that, at this point in the season it would be difficult to recruit someone and contracts would get in the way.
Interesting.

David any hope of the rain staying away?

David,

I'm glad we concur on this heap of s++t,
He drove with the consideration of an SS Guard.
' If you don't push me off the track, i will !!!'
Sorry to any Germans reading this, no offence meant.
If offence is taken, spend your effort " re educating the schwein hund "
He is a disgrace to "Sportmanship" . Let him try and win by fair means.
If i take flak for this post , so be it !!!
I dont give a flying fuck !!
He is a total scum bag.
Not worth my jism down his throat.

My comments were not restrained, yours were.
On which side where you in Boston harbour, lol ?
Did you get a chance to taste the so called tea ?

By no means a Schuey fan and not taking any offence at all, but it always amuses me how he´s still capable of stirring people´s emotions.

Maybe we should all just tune down our pacemakers and remember one of F 1´s pillar saints, Ayrton Senna, trying to push Prost into the pitwall at 200 mph, Portugal 1988.

David, you will be pleased to know that Di's 89 year old mum agrees with you. In her opinion if he gets anywhere near her Darling Mark Webber he will take him out.
P.S.

Marcus.
My pacemaker has a minimum setting and equates to about 55 per minute so I keep it on minimum. The reason is because the surgeon told me that when I was born I only had so many heartbeats and it would be silly to use them up unnecessarily. The only time I ever increase the pulse / speed is as a result of taking certain tablets - which actually need a slightly increased pulse/speed. I think you may know which tablets I am referring to.
On the tablet box it says "Side Effects - prevents rolling out of bed" :lipsrsealed:

I hope to see something similar to what i saw in monza 1982, with my grand dad (he was truck mechanic).
Gilles dead, Pironi hurted...and from USA super mario arrived, finishing 2nd in the race.
He never drove and saw before the ferrari 126 C2 turbo.
On monday he was back to usa...mario is even SUPER mario... ;)

Aaah...think I know these certain tablets, you got me rolling in tears. Agreed, certainly no need to waste too many heartbeats on Schuey (or any other concrete head for that matter...)

Cheers Mate
