Welcome to gt40s Jim....

There are sparse pictures of them scattered around the web and this place. I don't know of anyone here that is building one. Of course you could always be the first! :)

I may have misunderstood your post but if you have the slides could you scan & post them and I'm sure the real experts here will be able to identify & describe further

Here are a few pics for you of open cars. The Attwood /Whitmore car at the Nurburgring. The more modern pic is at the NEC show last year with the open car rebuilt by Gellscoe Motorsport The yellow car is Ray Cristopher's open GTD car at this year's Isle of Man Classic at the Sloc hillclimb. Very unusual car with ally monocoque built by Ray himself. Ray was one of the people behind GTD supercars. Hope these are what you want.
Cheers
Mike

Fran Kress had a roadster at one time, I saw it at Carlisle. He is usually there during the Import/replicar show. I don't know his phone number but I'll bet someone on the forum does.
Cheers

I was there that weekend; on a narcissistic hunch I closely examined the photos on the off chance that I'd be in one, and lo and behold, there I am!

Hi Jim,

Here's a few photos of my CAV Roadster/Spyder Roller. One of 4 built by CAV and the only one for sale. It is set for a 347/ZF and I will sell it for $49,000 stainless steel monocoque headers, wide body, 17" 335's )if you don't like the rear periscopes these could be taken off, an acquired taste). Please call me direct if you are interested. [email protected] 619-708-3180 vipclassics.com]Classic cars for sale - European, American antique and Vintage automobiles[/url]

I was there with my wife as well. My avatar photo is a shot from that weekend. Ran into
Roy Snook and Chris Melia as well, and shook hands with Jim G. (MK -IV J6).

Did you find any loose change down there..!:smoking:
