He's still alive as far as I know. I heard the rumor he was dead, but searched around and on the bike sites it was said a rumor. He took part in that crazy Europe Cannonball bike thing that was written up in Cycle World if I recall correctly, just a few months ago.

I think they are surely more than one pilot, this one should be the swedish one...but almost surely many others as him (not so hard to wear black leather and black helmet...).

There's a clip that used to float around the Internet called 'Doc Pascals Ride" or something like that. This was before Ghostrider. Weaving through traffic with sometimes mm to spare. Nutcase!
There will always be people willing to take insane risks, I don't care about that, what I don't like is when they risk the well-being of people who are not involved and have not chosen to participate.
