Luis Nieves Mark1

Luis,

I don't know how I missed this post before, but your work is truly stunning. I hope you don't get too bored of hearing that. I understand first-hand how much work goes into doing CG models like this and I find it almost impossible to imagine how you could have invested so much time and still managed to find time to eat and sleep! Exceptional!

Thanks so very much for sharing your work.

Mark

Hahaha, thak you very much for your kind comments man, CG and cars are my passion.
I do really love GT40s, the history, design and performance of this icons have been present in racing history for decades... I had a blast exploring and studying these awesome machines, and bringing imagery to you, with new techonolgies and new blood is a pleasure.

Totally agree, beautiful work....more...please...

You got it, I'll post my animation reel soon.
Can you please give me a hand like Ian, Karl and Dave above?
Thak you very much.

Luis.

GT40:

This car is like the wild partygirl on a nice cocktailevening. All the other girls (p´s, F´s, L´s and so on) are more eloquent and they are beautyfull as well. BUT they are also so predictable and very much in control(especially of themselve). Everyone wants the wild raw one to experience the unexpected and realy handle a challenge.

Hahaha, great! I love Wild and Raw, this is what it is about gentlemen, having fun and making something neat together.

The only car that is known by it's height
Very important detail too Ian, as you are the person more involved in here I'm thinking in to give you a personalized wallpaper with your name on it, or something like that. We can talk about it later on, Thanks...

Great european feed back I'm having here, keep bringing the good stuff gentlemen, Thank you very much.

Luis.

To quote a fellow Pantera-owning friend of mine:

"Owning a Ferrari is like dating a ballerina and owning a Pantera is like dating a stripper". I think the same can be said of the GT40.

Thank you very much man, I appreciate your kind comments and your imput, The link in youtube is working, I believe is something related with a wrong communication between gt40s.com's server and youtube's. The solution is to copy and paste the link in a new window, or looking directly in Youtube for Luis Nieves ford GT40.

Cheers!

thx Dave, ow...I see its the same as the vimeo :D
so now I guess I've seen it at least 5 times.

must have cost a lot of time to put such video together Luis.

I once sold a car from me, a phoenix-yellow BMW S54 M coupe (Z3) to a US guy who lived for a few years in Amsterdam, and that guy did make some Coca Cola commercials, also the one with that cola machine when someone dropped a coin in it then you see the world in that machine...what was his name, he's now again in the states, euhm... Hunter Hindman, he also did some nice things.

Yes man, it was a lot of work, is still WIP I'm thinking to add some environment and driver, a full digital scene. I'll post again ASAP.

The guy you are saying is a great artist, I know the advertising agency where he works is in NY, they always do amazing stuff, thanks for sharing.

Here some copies of the wallpapers I made. Thank you for the feedback gentlemen.

Cheers!

Truly brilliant work Luis. I dabble in a bit of 3d modeling myself (3ds max) and having worked with the 3d car modelers on the Colin McRae video games I know how much time and attention these things take.

Big respect, after you finish this we need to get you building a real one :)
