well, done mate looks and sounds great. That exhaust system is spot on, quite quiet by comparison to some that I've herd. I like the way you could see it gradually turning blue.
That ZFQ looks the part too
Strange to think some would pay millions for a painting of some sunflowers, when they could have a work of art like your Southern GT in the house, and a lot of change!!!!
Martin,
Can't see from you pics, but are you fuel caps and fill necks boxed in for IVA? Any chance you could take some pics, as I guess I will have to do it for my GTD (if I can ever find the time to get in the garage....). Thanks
Managed to finish panelling the inside of the cabin where the fuel filler pipe comes through which is needed now for the IVA test. Put the dash in and got everything working. Just plonked on the spider which I will work on tomorrow.
Brett
The fuel filler caps will be as most other 40s and covered for the test with a moulded cap fixed to the front clip. You can see the panelled in area on the last picture on my previous post which has been duplicated on the drivers side. Hell of a job especially when the powder coaters loose three days work!
Well its passed.
At Southampton yesterday with the help of Mick, Adam along with Matt and a customer of Mick's called Nick (who was a star) we managed to get my car through the new ISVA test. The test was stringent to say the least but we managed in the end. Next is registering then driving  After three years of building it is a great relief and is still sinking in.
Martin.
ps The last two pictures are of Nick's car with newly fitted Gulf arches at Mick's.
No Ian, another of Mick's customers with a Southern GT passed the IVA a couple of weeks ago, again at Southampton. Gluttons for punishnent us SGT owners!
Well done Martin, look forward to seeing you at Cadwell.
