Dennis Olthoff is the only one that I would ever let touch my GT40. He knows these cars better than anyone else out there.

How much are rollers as of Feb 1st?

$119,900.00..........say thank you Mike as the value of your GT40 (and all other SPF GTs) goes up then!

Agree with the Dennis statement. When I get another GT40 it will go through Dennis for build-out. I have a local friend who does Cobras for our customers but he will not even consider doing a GT40...he says he doesn't want to lose his ass on the job!

I fully agree with the skill and knowledge of Dennis Olthoff. I had my car originally assembled by Bill Andrews at HRE and had to disassemble and redo my entire car right after he delivered it to me. It was unsafe and probably would have either had a major mechanical failure or burnt to the ground had I not started over. He took no responsibility, was over his head, and his ego was making decisions. He can put a Cobra together but he should stay away from GT40s. Dennis did not fix mine but rather supplied some parts and a lot of knowledge. Dealing with Dennis was a positive experience.

Steve,

For you, 2.2 million!

Actually the current chassis price is $109,900 and it includes the basics you got way back when. There are of course many upgrades and improvements since then but it will hard to improve on the car you sold Grady!

Rick

Hi Steve
I tried contacting you last year but didn't hear back. All is well here as you can see. A new stable mate was added in late 2015. Dennis went through it (2016) and made several improvements. David Brown (ESP Motorcars) did the Guardsman paint. Two beautiful machines. I need to get them together and takes a picture or two. Grady

Is that a 4x4 under that pickup?

attachment.php

Actually a 3.75" x 3.152 x 11.67 red oak. It looks a lot better with an engine (you remember those, don't you Mike?) and the ride height set.

It's kind of funny I bought mine when I did because the price was going to go up $10K. Of course at the time the price was going from $65K to $75K. Oh how times they are a changing. And to think at the time my x-wife thought I was crazy. Sorry got to go the nice men in the white coats are telling me it's time for Tea and more or those DAMN pills.

I would never root for SPF to fail, but if they ever do, the values on these cars will go through the roof.
