Hi Randy,

The doors, dash and spider are painted with black/white speckled trunk paint.

The GRP inner door pockets and trim panels as well as the door end closure panels and check straps are included in our "Complete" kits.

Thanks,
Scott

Scott - Do you happen to know the maker and code of the trunk paint used?
All the trunk paints I have found were water soluble and required a clear-coat to seal them. Even at that they were not very durable.. :(

I really like the look of that enough where I am seriously considering doing the same on my car...

Thanks!

Randy,

I have it somewhere, I'll look it up for you.

I have had no "durability" issues with the paint and I have been in and out of the car quite a bit.

New self-luminescent (Glow in the dark) switch placards installed.

Pics are a little over-exposed.

Went to the Pioneer Valley GTO Club's open car show today.

It was in Agawam Massachusetts.

I have never seen so many pristine Goats.

As always though when a GT40 shows up it irritates lots of GM fans!

Scott:
Looking good. I didn't notice that dash treatment at Carlisle, but it looks great in the photos.
It looks like you have an oil temp gauge in the dash, I have one opening left in my dash and it looks like thats what will go there. A friend of mine suggested a vacuum gauge "so I can check my fuel economy", I laughed for about 5 minutes.
Those GTO guys are jealous because you brought a car that can actually corner faster than 25 mph.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers
Phil

Scott, you should come to the Factory Five Open House this Saturday, but don't show up in the GT. You will have to park outside the gate.

Too funny Phil!

Great meeting you at Carlisle.

Bill,

The FF guy's I met at Carlisle were real nice folks, perhaps they would not mind a "special guest appearance"?!!

Just kidding.

Today I put the car down onto blocks at ride height and set the wheel alignment.

Then I installed the coil-overs and rolled it outside to turn it around for next weeks engine install.

All this in just 50 days.

Hi Scott, do you mind if I use your chassis pictures for a design project I'm working on ?

Do you have more pictures with a similar view but with the engine in the chassis?
Looking forward to seeing more of you very nice looking Gt40.....:)

Thanks

Today I installed my new Tornado replica dash de mister grille.

It only took 30 minutes and six easy steps...

1). Remove the door check straps from the dash side.
2). Remove the 4 dash attach screws.
3). Pull the dash aft just enough to remove the early type grille.
4). Locate holes and drill new grille.
5). Install the new grille.
6). Imbibe several ice cold Heineken's.

JOY:thumbsup:

Some pictures of the last cruise of this summer at "Marks Cruise Night" this evening.

At the last count I heard almost 900 cars had shown up!

Shown with 875 is one of her older sisters from Boston.
