Just took my daughter and friends out for her seventh birthday....

we went to "build a bear workshop".....basically kids take an unstuffed teddy bear fill it full of stuffing and buy it a snazzy costume.......$25-35 each bear...2 minutes to make....and every kid wants the coolest costume..$$$$$

HOLY CRAP.....what a license to print money...anyone want a replica company...... I am off to stuff bears...... ;-)

Well Fran, get used ot it!

I've been on the receiving end of the Build A Bear, as my daughter attended a party at one, and it has to cost some serious cash! Sydney liked it a lot though!

But things have changed. Sydney went to a birthday party today (I mised out, Lola work) and got a $5 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble in her "goodie bag" for coming. Just like Build a Bear, when you go to a party, to give presents to the birthday person, you still get a present.

And, tomorrow Sydney goes to another birthday party and is probably going to bring home some more booty and it isn't even her birthday!

Sure wasn't like this when I was 5, heck, I remember maybe getting some ice cream when I went to a friend's party and that was it. Times change.....

Oh yeah, it is a major disaster when there is no "party bag" for Rebecca after attending a party! But I bet our parents grumbled just the same when we were 5 and that when Sydney and Rebecca have kids (that's a scary thought right now) they will grumble at the kind of toys that their kids want and demands they make!

Just a reality check, but you have your own Build-A-Something party going on in your garage... And I'm pretty sure it was more than $25 (even without the RF contribution).

I'd sure be smiling if I came home from a party with one of those!

u can think to add that bear costume in gt40 options as well as aircon or carburators.
The dad will love the car...and the kid will love that too for the coolest optional.
