Why would anyone think that is a fake? It just looks like it was shot with a fast lens opened up to provide a shallow depth of field. If you really want the model effect then shoot with a tilt shift lens. You can mimic this effect with Photoshop to some degree but I don't see effects in that pic other than just a shallow depth of field. Nice car by the way!

Sorry, I've not logged on in a while and just noticed the posts. Tom has it right in the post above. I used a 90mm Tilt Shift lens which creates the effect you see. That is the fun part about the lens...it makes people do a double-take.
