Miami Active Power Build

GEORGE....ARE YOU ON THE ROAD YET???? TELL US HOW THE CAR DRIVES/HANDLES...

Working on finishing the interior and should be done by the weekend. Had a hard time getting reverse but with Chris’ help and patience its done. The GT has plenty of power, handles great and its a beauty. Just installed a rear review camera which is a must. Just a few odds and ends and I will be done. It basically took me two years from the time I placed the order to complete the car working on it after work and on the weekends. The support I got from Chris was second to none. I enjoyed every minute of it and now will find something else to build. Steve its time to get back to your build and let me know if I can help with anything.

Ive been building a Lola t70 Mk3b using an active power chassis.I have to agree with the support from Chris at Active power. Also Mac at Mclendon international(Lola Specialist) Im about 90% complete.Im at 18 months total time.Got to subtract about 5/6 months off that for a full shoulder replacement and getting a 69 vette on the road. I have found that the hardest part of any build(or any goal) is sticking with it. I try to get something done EVERY day .All those 10 minute to 1 hr jobs add up quick. Turned 70 in January and still getting it.

DJ this month I will be 65 and still enjoy putting things together. The Lola t70 is an awesome looking car and congratulations on your progress. Post pictures, I would like to see it.

nice progress, love seeing it on the road! Agreed, Chris is great to work with...I'm very glad I went with him!

What color code is that blue?

Peter I have also followed your build and you are doing a terrific job. Sorry for the loss of your dad and I know he still your inspiration moving forward. I agree Chris is always available, very helpful and a phone call away. Attached is the picture of my paint code.

Chris runs a small business in Ohio under the name Active Power Cars. I did my research before purchasing and been dealing with him over the last couple of years. My dealings with him have been all positive. He always answers my calls and offers great assistance.

George

I am also building and active power. can you tell me what shocks and springs you are using? Just want to verify them to what i received

Mark I asked Chris for QA1 coil overs with blue springs. I’m not sure what coil overs he supplies with his rollers. I believe he supplies QA1s.

I too got the package from chris. QA1 shocks and black coil overs. My car is still in the air and the A arms are at full droop. I keep thinking my shocks are to long but maybe when they are on the ground it will look closer to what you have. I have 350 lb in front and 550 lb in rear.

Mark, when lifted they will droop. When you add the engine and all the other stuff it will sit right. I believe I have the same setup as yours but with blue springs.
