This should be in the interior section but I have posted it in the Paddock so as to correctly locate the inevitable knob jokes that will ensue.
I have attached some pictures of my knob and hope that as I have shown you mine you will show me yours!
Although I have been attached to my knob for many years now I have never really liked it. I don't like the colour, the shape or even the way it is attached. As I have played with it and waggled it about on many happy occasions the time has come for for some drastic surgery and a new dawn.
I have pondered long and hard and have searched the internet and viewed many seductive pictures of the vast range of shapes, sizes and colours to be found. I have narrowed it down to couple provided by the local CNC surgeon. I have gone for aluminium but maybe something warmer in the hand would be more satisfying. I have gripped and waggled them and find the experience quite rewarding (and pleasurable even) but the time has come for a decision. To help me I need you guys who understand these things to step up and show me some pictures of your knobs and to indicate a preference in this area of tactile ergonomics as to whether you go for the fat and stubby or the long and ribbed. If you have difficulty maybe the ladies in your life who understand these things can give you some pertinent advice.
Also any or all knob jokes will be welcome in my quest for the one true knob.
Over to you gentlemen.
Cheers
Mike
First pic is my old battered ugly knob. The others are my post op ideals
