I find that kind of power pointless, especially on a car that has known aerodynamic issues (lift at high speeds-150+).

There are many TT Ford GTs running around with that sort of HP that are not slipping clutches. I have no idea but wonder if that car is using the same drivetrain? A handful of them have exceeded 260mph in the standing mile. Are you saying the GTM is unsound above 150mph? That would be surprising for a modern car design. I don't find them to be aesthetically appealing myself. The squared off window opening looks 100% kit car'ish to me. I'm not a take it to the track nazi like some but I do find it a bit reckless to be lighting up your tires at 80mph on a busy residential street. Find some deserted road to play.
