F1 in 2013

One just for you Keith!

Poor thing got too close to the fire when warming her backside, eh?

Might as well have some thread drift, nothing could be more boring than F1 right now.

I thought a couple of them were a bit - doubtful?
Large adams apple and huge hands holding the boards. (Something the BA briefing sheets told us about on Seoul night stops).

^^^There's "thread drift".....and then there's THIS!!!!!!! ^^^

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

She is lovely but Asian girls just don't ring any bells for me. You can have em all Keith:thumbsup:

Not really a thread drift because its all F1 related. No handbrakes on an f1 car so they fit them to the Korean chicks.:)

Yes, rather sad. She was there to promote her new book "Life is a Gift." No COD has been given but one can only imagine.

R.I.P.

Edit: allegedly natural causes.

Could this be the "major technical signing" they were alluding to last week?

"McLaren confirm Red Bull's Prodromou - aero specialist and former McLaren engineer to return in 2015."

It's extraordinary, the lengths some 'fans' will go to to discredit a rival. As that was in Spanish, no prizes for guessing who's fans we are talking about here..

Sounds like the bastard child of a circular saw and an air raid siren... Played it to three different people and asked them to guess what it was, all three said circular saw...

And one said, the neighbour's 3 phase vibrator!

Actually sounds a lot better than the Renault which I posted earlier. Mind you, that's dyno room mufflers etc...

Do you think Vettel has a "secret weapon" on his Red Bull?

Have a listen to him exiting the chicane (formerly Singapore Sling) recently. His car definitely has a misfiring kind of grinding noise and he is on the throttle way earlier than everyone else. All the other cars sound completely normal, and accelerate cleanly.

Vettel built up an astonishing 32 second lead at Singapore within a relatively short space of time. Not wishing to detract from his undoubted driving skills, but has he got some trickery in the engine department that allows him to get on the power way earlier? (bearing in mind of course, that any form of traction control is illegal)

His teammate's engine, by comparison sounds "normal."

For me it's a very emotional and evocative sound that takes me back to a special time in my youth. It's a sound I haven't heard in over 54 years. It is exactly the same as the Weber/Costello "Little Giant" school chalkboard eraser cleaner model 3354 that our grammer school janitor used to clean the erasers for my fourth grade classroom!
