Romans 14:11
New International Version
It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'"

Not just Peter Green, but another (and somewhat rather underrated) candidate for Guitar God has to be Robin Trower, who is as close to Hendrix in style as you'll ever get (for a white man)

Here he is, aged about 61.. Oh and outright winner of the best 'guitar face' competition..

I did a bit of a rant on FB about feeling prejudiced against by not being allowed to wear my motorcycle helmet or hoodie into banks and service stations when the burqa is allowed.
One of my American friends said he walked into service stations all the time wearing his helmet.
I was wondering what the situation is in the U.K. N.Z. And Europe. And do all states in the U.S. Allow bike helmets in banks and service stations?

Can't comment on those all in one issues (we are in the deep south after all) but certainly, in the UK most filling stations will exhibit a sign asking you to remove your helmet..

I've never heard of there being a law against wearing a helmet in either one. It's always been my experience that the "allowing" is up to the particular establishment. 'Same as with masks on Halloween.

Also in the UK to remove your Hoodie or Balaclava An OAP was asked to remove their Hoodie at a supermarket!!

It's official. Jesus Christ is a shredder..

Check this out - the most amazing guitarist you never heard of..

Govan Guthrie

When I heard this guy effortlessly switching genres and time signatures, I threw my guitars over a cliff....especially as he maintains he never practices..

Often shares a stage with Petrucci, Vai, Satriani and others of that ilk..and is from, er, Chelmsford.

Well I didn't want to get nasty but you forced me, you are all wrong and I can say that with complete confidence by pulling rank as a silver medal Holder of the Guild of Saint Stephen and I hasten to add having been to a Catholic public school and with a confirmation sponsor who held the Papal medal, I obviously know the most about religion ;)

Therefore, I can say without fear of contradiction and with full authority, it's shared between Carlos Santana and Ian Anderson :) god the father and god the son.

I agree and this I believe is his best track

That said I do like some of the less well known artists that Keith has turned up

I agree about Satriani. I've been a fan of his since "Surfin with the Alien" came out in '89. Over the last 10 years or so, I've developed a real liking for Brian May - whether it's his solo work or his work with Queen.

Thanks Ian, not seen that one before reminds me of his early days although it was before my time :) we had a very enlightened music teacher at school who used to let us listen to the likes of Santana, Pink Floyd and King Crimson.

One I suspect you will appreciate
