Guess my HP / TQ

I'm putting together a bullet for another project and thought it might be fun to get some preliminary HP/TQ estimates. I'll give you some specs without identifying specific parts. You might need to do a bit of math...

You guess the peak HP at what RPM and peak TQ at what RPM.

Closest results will get a little something in the mail to savor the victory :D

Here are the specs:

Shortblock:
351 Windsor 9.5 deck w/ 4.0 stroke and 6.2 rod and 0.030 overbore
-19cc dish pistons
0.043 head gasket thickness 4.010 bore
Zero deck piston height

Heads:
60cc Combustion Chamber 2.05 intake, 1.6 exhaust
205 cc Intake Ports / 75cc Exhaust
Flow Specs (cfm)
.200" 127/108
.400" 234/167
.600" 291/195
.700" 285/199

Valve Train:
Hydraulic Roller - .608 In/Ex Lift 248/258 dur @. 050 114 lobe sep. No advance Roller Rockers w/ Rocker Support

Intake:
High rise square bore, port matched

Carby:
750cfm Billet body 4150 style

Headers:
1 3/4" primary w/ low restriction extensions

Are we talking flywheel or rear wheel HP?

I'm guessing 600HP@5850RPM, 580 lbs/ft@5250RPM - rear wheel numbers.

Any photos of the engine?

BTW been a big fan of your site for some time......

Okay, I'll take a shot.

515 hp at 6400 RPM

465 tq at 5400 RPM

Didn't do any arithmetic to see if those numbers even make sense.

Ron

With the info posted I'm guessing
3 bent rods
5 bent valves
2 chewed up vic jr. heads

--OR--
Assuming that the gasket bore is really 4.100"
I'm guessing,
503 HP @ 6500
470 TQ @ 5000

Whoops, well, I'll keep my numbers as flywheel guess. I actually meant
flywheel and not rear wheel, but life happens ...

so 600HP@5850, and 580 lbs/ft@5250 - flywheel.

Flywheel ratings
535 HP @ 6000
500 TQ @ 5250

Needs more Carb and more lobe separation to go higher. Should have a nice flat torque curve with the cam you have though..

Is the correct answer is 'Not enough' ? :):)

I'll shoot at 585hp at 6300, 510 th at 5200

Random numbers just to be different.

I just figured about 1.4 HP per inch on pump gas limmited by the 750 was about right at 550 or so. The hyd lifters will limit revs somewhat so you won't be able to spin it up too far. SO..... my guess is......

HP 540 @ 5900
TQ 490 @ 4600

Hopefully I made it before the dyno day:

HP: 540 @ 6200
TQ: 515 @ 5200

Assuming no rev limiter and correct valve springs.
