My pond remains unrippled.
If he is dumped he will move to a different channel with a new (ie same ) program called sixth gear or something. Hopefully the BBC will then get somebody who knows about cars and can drive drive like Chris Harris and we can can get a car show instead of a dicking about crass fest. We have plenty of these kind of "reality" shows full of "celebrities" clogging the airwaves anyway. But then again what do I know.
Cheers

I do watch, but I need my BS filter set on "11" to enjoy what I'm watching. If I never hear "horsepowers" or "torques" again, my world will be a better place.

Who was the journalist who lost his house after a 911 or similar test went bad?
Hale or something comes to mind

Perhaps he would be a good replacement

As all three presenters have their contracts up for renewal this month, and as Sky are offering big money to get the programme ( which of course BBC will never let go !) it will not be beyond consideration that we might see SKY FIRST GEAR or something similar.

I find Clarkson amusing but the show that once in awhile used to be informative has degenerated into a reality who can be the biggest twat fest. I don't watch it anymore.

For what it's worth,
the only redeeming factor of that show was the introduction of their test driver -----

Keith - quite timely & priceless!!!!
David - I'm with you....

Oh there were times when Clarkson was funny, but he was like a drunk who keeps telling the same jokes at the pub over and over until finally he realizes that noone is laughing and the pub has emptied...

It looks like Mr. Clarkson has been given his walking papers. It will be interesting to see where BBC and the former Top Gear trio go from here.

He's not the first by a long stretch....
I hope he is as pleased with himself as Charlie Sheen is with his own infamy..

I saw Top Gear as a package deal.. Without Clarkson, the package (what there was) is spoiled... The show will be relegated to endless reruns and Clarkson will retire comfortably on the royalties...
Doggoned pity that someone should be rewarded in such a manner...

So Clarkson gets the DCM ( don't come Monday ) .Proof that no one is bigger than the firm, also a reminder that one should not beat up your employer no matter what. Tiz a shame .

At the end , what did he say :

" Much as i think he is a Nob ! "
or was it
" Much as i think he is a Wogg !"
