You have to be a member of the species Nutjobicus Americanus to understand the meaning conveyed by that visual depiction and it's relevance to the abortion debate in this thread, and Lonesome Nutjob's query as to what universities I attended.
In the world of the nutjob somehow this all fits together!
After reading all of the above, FDR was a just another fundamentalist nutcase.

My, my, our wild eyed Bolshevik is so serious about fundamentally changing us that he doesn't have time to reminisce over those old frat pranks of yore. Too busy organizing the unenlightened masses?
OK back to business. i noticed the accuser of all nut cases doesn't want to respond to this. Anyone else game?
What is there to respond to? FDR said a prayer for the troops landing at Normandy. I would have too if I were alive then.
There would be a big difference between that and, say, trying to force everyone in the country to adhere to your religious beliefs about when life begins.
I don't expect you to understand that, but I'll try.
That is you type casting me as all liberals have a need to do.
The irony in this statement is off the scale:
Ok, you are a secular humanist. I forgot. I don't care if you "invoke" God or not. You are making an essentially religious, or metaphysical, or philosophical, decision about when life begins and then seeking to force all others to accept that.
Does your cabin have running water? How do you power your internet connection in such a way that the jackboots can't detect you? Is your bomb making room decorated in primary colors, or do you like a more earthly hue while you go about your business?
Pure Capitalism doesn't work look at USA (pure capitalism requires the banks and car companies to go bust not bailed out)
If capitalism in the US were "pure," they would have been allowed to fail and a more efficient model would fill the void.
Chrysler has been bailed out three times now, the government screwed the stock holders in favor of the unions that crippled the car makers to begin with, and on top of everything else, the gave control to Fiat, Fix It Again Tony!!!!!!!!
And here's the kicker, being run by the government means not having to honor warranties;

Why people think that politicians, who have never run a business, made a payroll, etc. know better how to run everything will never make sense to me.
No business should be too big to fail. That's what separates the wheat from the chaff. We wouldn't have companies like AIG frolicking on our tax dollar.
Once again, a human sperm impregnates a human egg which creates a unique, new string of human DNA. A person. Pure biology 101.
Show a fraction of compassion for this new human as you do for the convicted Serial Rapist Murderer.
Hmmmmmm, maybe if we called it a delayed abortion you'd be all for it! Eureka! Women find him inconvenient.
I just sneezed out a bunch of unique human DNA. Arrest me for genocide!
Unique human DNA test as a test for personhood fails. Please try again.

You hit the nail firmly on the head there Bob.
Tax payers should be share holders in their country. The 'business' of a country should be run by business men/women with proven track records, reporting to the shareholders annually. Leave the Politicians to do politics.
I know that can't happen, but there ought to be a way to business-asize most of the daily routine elements of a country. Take local services as an example. When a Council tenders to outside companies to provide a service here, they have a budget to spend. Spend it and fall short is the true goal, allowing them to justify a request for more money next year. There is no incentive to get the job done for less/better value.
I guess that is the same in most Western/Capitalist countries?
