Now, if the guy was serious and I do believe he was, Is there some way we can alleviate his fears? After all, Pete Mc (whatever) has already says that he agrees and that the Paddock has become a den of iniquity. I would have expected David Morton to comment, but I fear we are ALL on his Ignore list.

So true, I think it would be fair to say that as a tree hugging, caring sharing, love and peace, champagne socialist leaning Liberal, l am probably a little left of Molleur's political beliefs. I also suspect that he would not agree with a lot of my posts made in the paddock.
However, our love of the automobile transcends these differences to the extent that when I put out the following request :-
Molleur went out of his way to find the correct item in the US and responded,
Which he did, posting it to me in the UK, and would not take any payment for doing so. I have no doubt if I put out the same request tomorrow I would get the same response.

He seems so 'enthusiastic 15 year old'. I just don't know if I can believe that anyone who seems so interested and enthusiastic could possibly be so naive and know so little about his subject - unless he really is a kid.
The amount of help he has been given is huge but he completely fails to understand anything... I've never seen anything like it.
He doesn't even seem to understand the reasons for his own aims, any of them.
If he is a troll then he is truly in a class of his own.

Please dont take this as some sort of jibe, but if you have really done as much reading as you say then perhaps there is a comprehension issue that you need

What you say makes as much sense out of this, as anything I have heard.
It appears to me that at least in his mind, these are genuine questions and that we are either not answereing them, missleading him or purposely making fun of them.

As you can see from the above quote G is in love with an ideal image he knows nothing about.
If I was going to buy a car I would at the very least go for a ride in or drive one to see if it is really up to what I want in a car before committing myself and a huge amount of dollars to a project that in NSW is a formidable challenge given the attitude of the RTA and registration.
All his posts and arguments are about something he has not researched at all before committing pen to paper.
During my lifetime I have seen many people that bought cars for whatever reason and then found that they did not really like that car's traits and were sorry they bought it as it was not what they had imagined.
I first saw and fell in love with the 40 back in 1969 and after years of research and going for a ride in one committed myself to a build in 2006 when I had the experience and maturity to make a rational decision.
With G the experience and maturity have yet to come .
