A1: I think I know.
A2: Prost in spite of Renault announcement yesterday. I think he will be in Singapore
on the overnight flight tonight.
A3: Luca di M is about to announce his drivers for 2010. Alonso will race alongside Massa so the safety car issue may never happen again.
A4: End of next season unless sold off before.

Just been watching 2nd practice in Singapore. Looks like the only sponsor on the Renault is RENAULT!

You couldn't make this stuff up:

1. Grosjean crashed his Renault in Practice 1. Guess where?

2. Both The Midget and Mr Whippy have publicly come out in favour of Jean Todt over Aari Vatennan for the FIA Presidency. That'll be a fair election then, won't it? :veryangry:

With Napoleon at the helm it'll be like Jean-Marie Balestere all over again..:squint:

Please no no no.......

Answer to Q1: Where else? Turn 17...:laugh::laugh::laugh:

:poke: Sorry for your feelings Keith but it does look as though Napoleon will win. The odds are really stacked against Aari Vatennan and I do agree it will be a backward step.
Looks as though Turn 17 is the reggies bête noire in more ways than they would care to admit.
I wonder who will be on the prat perch in Qualifying today and the race tomorrow.
Apparently Prost is still in France and Renault have indicated they will make such decisions in January. I wonder what that strategy indicates? Flavio may be mounting an appeal and that may mean Pat Symonds may also go down that route though the FIA enjoindre seems a bit final as far as Pat is concerned. Flave has little to lose and knows it but can you imagine Flav buying out Enstone? The fur would really fly..........:bash:

:hanged: :rifle:

Well, Singapore was really interesting. Not.
I'm sure there was something wrong with the lap counting as it went from lap 11 to 55 and nobody did any pitstops. Then again maybe I dozed off.

Same here

I actually went outside half way through and mowed the lawn
Ban all aero aids and pput skinny 60's style tyres back on so people can get close enough to overtake then we'll see some racing again

The BBC1 'Red Button' service is fantastic. The whole Singapore Grand Prix took exactly 10 minutes... no time to sleep... :)

ahead of the D notice Alonso will be announced as a Ferrari man this week. Possibly on Wednesday.
Massa may return from Interlagos onwards so thats is the last two races.
Raikonnen will oust fellow Fin Kovalinen at Woking (McLaren) in a deal involving Santander money.
Button needs to be 4th or better in Suzuka to be world champion.
Yawn.

Interesting.

There is no way I would hire Kimi unless his entire pay was based on results.

Then again, he doesn't need the money, does he?

Alonso confirmed in Ferrari seat alongside Massa for 2010. It was going to be from 2011 but events (presumably in Renault) changed things a bit and the deal was changed and now runs from 2010.
Massa is running in the simulator next week.
