After spending 20hrs trying to get the coil & magnet speedo theory working on my cobra, I ended up giving up and swore I'd never use it on any of car I built.

So I didn't this go around.

Yaaay for Digidash GPS unit - finally got around to testing him today

Definitely a strong guy - it only took him 10seconds to lock onto the sat signal when I hid him underneath the car (so theoretically you can place him anywhere.....I'm just tucking him underneath the dash in my wiring harness)

Interesting, but I prefer my gauges to all match (e.g., all autometer). This guy is an add-on to the Digidash package - just plugs into it.

For my autometer guy, I use this guy - he converts the GPS data to the proper pulses/mile for any speedo input like autometer
