After several Months of intense negotiation...Lawyers...lawyers..Accountants... I have sold my business and am riding off into the sunset. Wish me well.

Shit! What do I do now?.........Put a lot more miles on the GT40? Go fishing? I guess I'll think of something:thumbsup:

Hahahah Yeah right, no one on this forum would ever speak to me again.
;)

What made you think that, now you're no longer gainfully employed, we were going to speak to you anyway?
Have a long and happy retirement, Pete. Once you get used to the slower pace (all day to change a library book), there's all sorts of enjoyable things to do.

Unemployed eh? And you with a child bride and all. Well, you've got time to be a real PITA to someone now, or just have a hell of a time doing whatever you please.

Good luck to you Pete. After decades of work it is only fair to have some fun time for yourself, especially while you are young enough to travel and enjoy life.

I agree with Dalton, travel the world and enjoy it whilst you have the opportunity and are able to.

Do everything you've ever put off because you were too busy, as soon as you can.

Well done Pete - keep busy though.. :)

Take all the hurry up, timetables and stress out of your life and you soon find out that 99% of stuff you ever worried about is really quite trivial.. in the scheme of things.

You should pop over and visit mate...

Congrats, Pete. From now on, everyday is Saturday. Make a bucket list and prioritize it, with the more strenuous stuff first, stuff you might not be physically able to do later...like climb the ruins at Machu Picchu, or Cuzco where the altitude can really get to you :o)
Enjoy!

What Mike said.....

Congrats Pete!

I retired about 8 months ago and am loving it - I have time to do all the things that need doing. Slowly and with enjoyment.

Enjoy your well deserved time off and make the most of it!! Meet up with David again at Monaco, except you won't have to rush back! A whole host of things!

Congratulations Pete, just try not to wear the felt on the pool table in your house too thin!

Pete,
You are a lucky man...GT40, young wife, horses, and living in OZ. What a great way to start your next adventure. Congratulations!

WTF??? After all this time, you were actually "gainfully" employed? I assumed your colorful and consistent commentary was because you were already retired!

I expect the appropriate signal to high-quality noise ratio to be upheld with your newfound extra time and look forward to your increased contributions on the forum.

And congrats on kicking back!

A Mustang for the boundary ride
A Prancing Horse for the Caf'e set
A ' 40 for the podium
Just swap the daily usage around a bit to make it interesting and the weeks will fly past.
All the best--
