He is also VERY young......but having said that, I do agree with you on blaming the team.

Broadcasting to the world on the radio was not very bright....although he has displayed similar stupidity on other occasions.....trying to win it in the first turn in Brazil the year before last when all he had to do was secure a good placing being the number one example.

Lewis may be a little naive but I would far rather have him being a racer like Noige, than an out and out cheat like MS. He is young & what were we doing at his age!
His wet driving skills mark him out as a superb car controller and again I would much prefer his driving any day, than a controlled just do what it takes of a Prost.
Oh and by the way it is really great that MW won at the weekend, richly deserved.
How about the prospect of Hamilton,Vettel,Webber,Button & Barrichello all fighting out on the track, not the courtroom, at the end of the season.
Now that looks enticing

I was trying to dig up a humorous comment from Keith to demonstrate what an Englishman is (to answer his question in another thread) but it passed. Never mind. :)

Drivers aren't allowed to try so hard these days, what with the chance of getting a penalty if you dare try to overtake... People like G Villeneuve would never get out of stewards hearings/court these days.
F1 is still a joke IMO but I have high hopes that it might recover soon. Ari would be very interesting in the FIA I think. That man is a driver worthy of great respect!

I really like Vettel now since MW won. He seemed really chuffed for Webber. That type of character isn't seen a lot these days, especially with team-mates. Some try (unsuccessfully) to pretend that way, while others just look disappointed... Vettel seemed to be unreservedly pleased for him.
All this Mr Nice Guy stuff should not forget Sebastian methinks.

Anyway, speedwise I don't care about the drivers anymore, they don't make enough difference. Alonso is the perfect example IMO.
My new "heroes" are FOTA, Brawn and Newey. The first for obvious reasons and the latter pair for the cars they've presented us with this year.

Apart from anything else I really like the look of the Brawn, it looks more like a classic race car with that lower nose.

Romain Grosjean?
Who?
He may just be the other driver in Renault F1 from Hungary. Watch that space......
Young Piquet might have been given the bums rush out the door last night.
We will know in a couple of days.

I got it mate, I got it. Mansell was the archetypal British Bulldog wasn't he? Unloved by his colleagues, boring unless provoked, artisan background (peasant), overweight, stupid tache, golfing addict, eccentric (very fast) cornering technique, huge capacity for "self harm" especially when leading, lived in a caravan, and beat the best in the World on his day... you couldn't make it up..

How terribly English...

Unless he changes his mind again, Mosley will go in October! :-) I reckon Bernie and/or others gave him no choice to save their business plan although Max is spouting on with other reasoning on why he is now going when before he wasn't, when before that he was, when before that he was just a bit kinky!

Bourdais has gone. The team said he didn't live up to the expectations of the team - and probably much more likely - the management.

Mark Webber has done so well since he broke his leg in a biking accident during the winter. He's going back into hospital - seemingly to break his other leg now.

Joke .....

Just send him back to Tas'.
Speed limits will be so slow here soon that he'll be running up the back of cars...

Come to think of it my sister lives down near where he had his accident, maybe she could start a service for aspiring drivers...

A local radio station has mixed the Webber race win "Yes! Yes! Yes!" manic outburst with the "leave brittany alone" guy. Pretty funny. :)

Is Nineteen to young? A lot of crap going on in other Forums about this re the Spanish young gun.
Hey at nineteen I was old enough to die for my country! Luckily (for me) I didn't. I hope the kid kicks arse.

For the 2009 season, the FIA are making public the weights of all cars ahead of the race start to help give an idea of relative fuel loads. The cars that made Q3 are weighed after qualifying, while the weights of the remaining cars must be declared by their teams shortly after the session.

Below is the provisional grid for the Hungarian Grand Prix with each car's weight.
Note - Ferrari’s Felipe Massa will not race following his qualifying accident.
