Lies and a mumbling old man yelling at a chair, thats what America came away with from the Republican Convention.

The stupid party at its finest!
GOD has been officially removed from the Democratic Party! The perfect place for the new Marxism to begin. Onward, Comrade soldiers!

Human compassion was removed from the Republican Party....the Republican's platform stand on abortion shows with indisputable intensity how little they care for women....regardless of how insincerely Ann Romney claims otherwise.

Yes folks, a grumpy old man yelling at a chair.

The Conservatives have jumped on this as the image they feel best represents the new Consevative party.

For once I have to agree with them!

"A grumpy old man yelling at a chair". Old yes, but in better shape than you are and a lot older. Grumpy, I don't think so. Yelling, what show were you watching? A bit slow at times but not bad for an unscripted 12 minute talk without a teleprompter. Here's a guy 30 years younger with a teleprompter.

Jim and Doug might want to read all about Paul Ryan's horrible lies and the righteous main-stream media's diligent "fact finding" in this article.

The Assault on Paul Ryan II | The Weekly Standard

It's a two-page article, and it really should be read by anyone who has heard from the MSM all about Paul Ryan's "lie-filled" speech at the RNC, but for those who are too lazy to click and read, here's the money shot:

So we are left with this irony: Paul Ryan was accused of lying because journalists and self-described “fact checkers” relied, at least in part, on a misstatement of fact that came directly from the Obama campaign.

So you'r saying an Obama administration misstatement led Ryan vote for the bailout?

Did an Obama misstatement make Ryan lie about his marathon time?:)

No, they lied about what Ryan said about the plant closing among other things. Marathon 22 years ago, you're really hurting for some dirt aren't you? The guy is squeaky clean, I guess a marathon will have to do.

Old Paul
John was in the fertilized egg business.
He had several hundred young layers (hens), called 'pullets,' and ten roosters to fertilize the eggs.

He kept records, and any rooster not performing went into the soup pot and was replaced.

This took a lot of time, so he bought some tiny bells and attached them to his roosters.

Each bell had a different tone, so he could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing.

Now, he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report by just listening to the bells.

John's favorite rooster, old Paul, was a very fine specimen, but this morning he noticed old Paul's bell hadn't rung at all!

When he went to investigate, he saw the other roosters were busy chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets, hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover.

To John's amazement, old Paul had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring.

He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one.

John was so proud of old Paul, he entered him in the Bairnsdale Agricultural Show and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result was the judges not only awarded old Paul the "No Bell Piece Prize," but they also awarded him the "Pulletsurprise" as well.

Clearly old Paul was a politician in the making. Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the unsuspecting populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention.

Vote carefully next election, the bells are not always audible
Re: The Repubs knocked THEMSELVES out!!!

So, why did you attack Mrs. Romney? It appears that you would know better than most what a tough life she has endured.
I am late to the party (sort of speak) And I carry no party flag here. I am like the UN observer so don't shoot me, interested in intelligent reason from both sides before deciding.

I find it interesting that on most occasions both side's reading comprehension is seriously flawed.

I also find that there is often completely irrelevant data tossed in the mix. (as in the above "emotional" comment from Bob). Whether this woman was flattened by a steamroller and survived has nothing to do with what her message contained.
