Lots of things have changed since the 60's…and not just in civilian life, think about the nature of the changes the military has had to endure.

Regs regarding the safeguarding of classified info and the consequences faced for failing to do so haven't, to my knowledge..........except for Billary, obviously.

Go Trump! Make America great again! To hell with you whiners lol.

I think you are going to need to practice, so repeat after me:

"President Hillary Clinton"
"President Hillary Clinton"
"President Hillary Clinton"

See? There, not so bad right?

You on the day after Trump takes it. How many times are you planning to vote?

Careful, Mike...there is truth to the saying " Pride goeth before a fall". IMHO Clinton's increasing lead in the polls will make her unbeatable.

I'll admit Trump has a way of activating people and that will benefit him, I just think he's brought too little, too late.

It will be an interesting evening if Clinton wins...and I don't mean in a good way.

Best of luck to Trump, I fear he'll need it.

I'm a Democrat, I believe in numbers and science and stuff. You right wingers are the ones who think all science is made up.

The numbers say "President Hillary Clinton." I know you got a bad case of "I feel differently" but it's going to take something extradordinary for Darth Cheeto to win. I mean it's possible, but it has nothing to do with the "feels." lol.

What re you drinking Jeff?
I'd like some but it would reduce my ability (what ability he says ?) to write something
half way intelligent to diddly squat.
PS
Who cares who wins? Over here the American reporters on SKY NEWS channel are calling the outcome of Nov 8th to be like being in the Jaws of Hell, no matter who wins.
I think they are talking up the situation in the U.S.A. But what do I know?

Let's be real... You're a hillbilly from NC who's only exposure to "science" was settting up your moonshine still. Democrats love low information voters...

I drink "facts" lol.

I do care who wins, this time especially. Darth Cheeto is dangerous.

Hillary? More of the same, not very likeable, but smart, experienced and competent. She won't kill us (or you).

We all wish there were better choices in the UK and the US but we have what we have. And the Orange Fascist who doesn't even believe in our own electoral system, and thinks ecause he has money he can sexually assault people, is most decidedly not the answer.

Except for guys like Mike, who apparently get their women by "grabbing them by the pussy."

...the Orange Fascist who doesn't even believe in our own electoral system

...any more than Al Gore who conceded the 2000 election before he contested it...then took the matter all the way to the Supreme Court - and lost...right?

...thinks (b)ecause he has money he can sexually assault people...

...as opposed to Bill Clinton who actually did sexually assault women and he knew he had something better than money - POWER...no small part of which was lording over the entire U.S. 'Just-Us' Department ('handy thing to have in one's pocket in a criminal case)...and the Arkansas 'Just-Us' Dept. back in the day. Billary Clinton aided and abetted Bill by launching a campaign to smear/blame Bill's 'conquests' in the attempt to discredit them and destroy their lives/reputations completely.

So, I would suggest 'tis the combo of Bill and Billary who are:
...most decidedly not the answer.
just on those points alone...not to mention all the other baggage they're carrying around both individually and collectively these days.

Bill is not running for POTUS, so he's a non-sequitur. Certainly no need to discuss him any further other than to mention that the "Lewinsky" fiasco was an act between two consenting adults and there was never any suggestion of any "assault" by the "victim"...in fact I'm not sure who was more of a victim, Lewinsky or Bill, considering the (ineffective) efforts made by the Conservatives to discredit and actually impeach him.

Now Trump...on the other hand...has a LONG history with multiple females claiming that his advances were NOT welcome, but that did not stop him. If it were me (and, of course, we all know from Trump's comments regarding women's appearances that I'm so "ugly" that it would never have happened...or at least I'd not have been his first choice :stunned: ) I'd have filed criminal assault charges against him...but, it wasn't up to me...nor any of us. However, I sure do not want a multiple-offending, sexually assaultive individual representing the United States all over the world. What a terrible impression that would leave of the U.S. (which, as David correctly points out, is already low enough).

As for HC orchestrating a smear campaign against these victims of Trump's unwelcome assaults, I'd like to see some proof. If any of you can provide that (of which unsupported accusations are NOT proof), I'd certainly like to know about it.

The right wing nutters comparing Bush v. Gore (note who sued who) to Trump claiming the election is rigged three weeks before it occurs are completely off their rockers. Not surprising of course that Larry has joined them.

Let's recap:

1. The Orange Anus: Weeks before the election. The election is rigged! I won't accept the results, unless I win!

2. Bush v. Gore. Gore wins the popular vote. NBC calls Florida and essentially the election for him. A few hours later Florida gets called for Bush. Gore goes to concede, makes the call, heads to give his speech. In the car on the way over, his staff calls to let him know that the margin in Florida is likely to be in the hundreds of votes and subject to an automatic recount.

Gore calls Bush and tells him the recount process needs to play out. He never questioned the validity of the process, claimed anything was rigged, nor claimed he wouldn't accept the results of the process.

THe recount process proceeds forward. Bush and Gore have a disagreement over how it is to proceed. Florida Supreme Court rules for Gore, recount begins.

Bush then brings an appeal to the US Supreme Court to STOP the Florida recount. Bush wins. Gore accepts the decision and we move on.

This has exactly ZERO to do with Darth Cheeto claiming shit is rigged.

Doug, he wasn't impeached for the affair. He was impeached for lying under oath. Much like Nixon wasn't in trouble for the Watergate breakin (he had no knowledge of it) he was impeached for lying about it and trying to cover it up.

Lewinsky was a subordinate. Most companies consider that highly inappropriate and CEO's have been fired for it. The fact that she was an intern and he was in a position of power implies some coercion. Bill was always good at picking his victims.

I too spent some time in Arkansas in the 80's and early 90's and the slime around the two of them is truly disgusting. Even if your a democrat, celebrating a HC win means you need your head or your ethics examined.

We should be sooooo proud of the impression our Republican candidate has left for the entire world to see :furious: !

All good points...other than the recommendation my ethics may be questionable :furious: . As I've said before, it's now a vote against the worst of two evils, not a vote for whoever is better (neither is!).

You aren't the first to claim HC is as "sleazy" as is her husband. I wouldn't know, she doesn't seem to have the bad publicity that he does regarding his "sleazy" conquests...but there are other areas where she IS suspect, I admit.

Bottom line is that no matter who wins, the U.S. loses it's position in the eyes of the world...so, which would we rather see be the reason for that? IMHO it would be better for HC to represent the U.S. than Trump. He's just not politically astute enough to carry that load and it wouldn't be long before he is making enemies worldwide with his angry attacks. Clinton seems (to me) to have less "baggage" and at this point it's damage control we in the U.S. need...badly!

...again....to paraphrase A&C...."...this is a fine mess we've gotten ourselves into, isn't it?" To elect Trump would be IMHO tantamount to heaping insult on top of injury. We certainly don't need to do that to ourselves (again, IMHO).

Cheers!

You're right about that! I cringe whenever he opens his mouth, mostly out of embarrassment for what people I know overseas must think.

Well, you're clearly not a fan of HC so not questioning your ethics:laugh:

Mail me a first class ticket and I'm on my way.

Ever decide why you think something inherent in black folks makes them more violent/prone to crime?

I wouldn't fly you first class anywhere.

I'm waiting for you to tell me. You're the "scientist"
